East Webster Elementary School enjoyed a visit from Arkansas author David M. Sargent Jr. in January. Sargent travels the United States with his dogs, entertaining children as he promotes reading and story writing. The students enjoyed meeting characters from his books, seeing the dogs perform and hearing him read one of his books.
Following the program Sargent autographed each child’s purchase of a book, poster and/or bookmark.
