Body found near highway identified

The area where a man’s body was found in the tree line beside a driveway off Hwy 9 South in Eupora is taped off after it was discovered July 15. At the scene are Cpl. Mitch Jackson of the EPD, Deputy Jeff Stone of the Webster County Sheriff’s Department, Coroner Steve Wells, Mayor Dan Burchfield and Police Chief Gregg Hunter. The man was identified as Robert C. McDaniel of Greenwood.
