Sheriff’s Office implements new program

Nonviolent offenders serving time at the Webster County Sheriff’s Office are participating in a new program to help them learn skills that will assist them in acquiring an occupation upon their release from the facility. One of the skills that they are learning is landscaping. Work has been completed on the grassy area behind the former Garan building by offenders in the program, as well as landscaping around the Sheriff’s Office.
