1) Courthouse developments: After prolonged litigation, the Webster County Board of

RUSSELL HOOD/STAFF In this July 2015 photo, Harrison Dozer Services prepares the site for the new Webster County Courthouse that will be built on the west side of Highway 9 in Walthall. The county contracted with Harrison Dozer for clearing, grubbing and erosion control of the nearly 7-acre site. Last month, the Board of Supervisors instructed JH&H Architects to draw preliminary plans for the new courthouse to be a two-story building with approximately 16,506 square feet and a single-story annex building of approximately1,824 square feet for storage.
