Register for Maben Summer Reading Program

You are invited to “Build a Better World” at the Maben Public Library’s 2017 Summer Library Program.

All children ages 4-12 can register. Registration will be June 2-9 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. but if you register early you can start counting the books you read! You will receive a book log to keep up with books read.

We will have a variety of programs suited for all ages Prizes will be rewarded for participation (drawn from registration box) and for the most books read!

Reading requirements are 15 easy books for ages 4-7 and three chapter books for ages 8-12 to be eligible for the final prize. A prize will also be given to the most read, so read as many as you can.

The programs will be Tuesdays in June at 10 a.m.

  • June 13: Lisa Stewart, Mississippi State University Extension Service
  • June 20: Jackie Kerr, conservation biologist from the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science
  • June 27: Wayne Yeatman, chief, Maben Fire Department
