Mother’s Day service
Join us at Crossway Church at 10 a.m. May 14 for a special service to honor all mothers. Each mother present will receive a gift to show our appreciation for you. There will be no evening worship.

Edgeworth Baptist Church memorial services will be May 14.
The cemetery meeting will be at 10: 30 a.m. Church and memorial services will be at 11 a.m., with potluck fellowship meal immediately following.
The annual LaGrange memorial will be at 10:30 a.m. May 14. Speaker for the service will be Scarlet Shepperd, pastor of the church. She and her family will bring special music. Make plans to attend the church service and stay for lunch.
Mt. Zion memorial
Annual memorial services for Mt. Zion Baptist Church will begin at 10:30 a.m. May 14 with Bro. Larry Halford bringing the message at 11 a.m.

Marvin Hill Methodist Church will have its annual memorial at 10:30 a.m. May 14. The speaker will be Lavelle McAlpin and the sermon will be given by the Rev. Randle Poss. Special music will be provided by Brad Stephenson. An offering will be taken for the cemetery.
Memorial services at Reed’s Chapel Baptist Church will be at 11 a.m. May 14 with James and LaDonna Caffey in charge.
Memorial service at Sapa Baptist Church is 11 a.m. May 14 with the music service provided by the Tracemen. A covered-dish lunch will follow in the fellowship hall. Bro. Adam Berry and Sapa congregation invite everyone to attend.
Shady Grove Church on County Home Road in Webster County will have its annual memorial service at 11 a.m. May 14. The speaker will be Russell Burton and lunch will be served following the service.
Gold City Quartet will be in concert at First Baptist Church in Eupora at 7 p.m. May 19.
Local singers will open for them at 6:30. Free admission, but a love offering will be received for Gold City.
The North Union Cemetery memorial service will be at 11 a.m. May 21 at the tabernacle with Bellefontaine United Methodist Church in charge of the services. The board of directors’ meeting will be at 10:45 a.m.
Mt. Moriah Methodist Church will have memorial services on May 21 beginning at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jeep Pepper will deliver the message and music.
Mt. Vernon Baptist Church will have its annual memorial service at 11 a.m. May 21. The Rev. Don Vaughan, pastor, will deliver the memorial address, with potluck fellowship meal immediately following.
The Embry memorial will be the fourth Sunday, May 28, with grave decorating from 10-11 a.m. Dr. James Bryant will deliver the morning message at 11 a.m. in Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church.
Cumberland Presbyterian Church will have its annual memorial service at 10:30 a.m. May 28. A covered-dish luncheon will follow the service.
JOY Club will have its monthly potluck luncheon at 11:30 a.m. May 30 in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church of Eupora.
The club will honor all veterans present and remember those who have passed. The guest speaker will be one of the organizers from the North Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael. Bring a dish (or a dollar) and come join the fun!
The First Baptist Church of Eupora’s Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet at 4 p.m. June 4 in the Bride’s Room of FBC Eupora.
This group makes crochet prayer shawls and blankets for friends and family of church members who are facing cancer. They also create caps and blankets for newborns, and caps and scarves for Operation Christmas Child.
As they are knitting, members are praying for the individual who will receive each item. If you know how to knit or if you would like to learn, come join the fun on the first Sunday afternoon of each month.
The monthly Men’s Prayer Breakfast is set for 6:45 a.m. June 7 in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church of Eupora. Men throughout the community are invited to attend. For more information, contact the church office at 258-3491.
