EPD report

The Eupora Police Department investigated these charges during March:

Speeding, 12; no driver’s license, five; passing stopped school bus, two; improper passing, one; careless driving, one; no proof of liability insurance, six; improper equipment, one; DUI-first offense, one; possession of liquor, one; possession of marijuana, one; possession of methamphetamine, one (misdemeanor);

public drunk, one; contempt of court, two; dog bite, one; dogs killed pet, one (LP Apartments); disturbance of a family, one; discharging firearm in the city limits, one; juveniles, two (at Masonic Lodge at 11:30 p.m. and at McDonald’s at 12:20 a.m.); harassments/threats, one;

malicious mischief, four (South Dunn Street-mailbox damage, Dunlap Street-mailbox damage, Whites Creek Lake-yard rolling/forking and Family Dollar-Redbox screen broken); credit card fraud, two; and petit larceny, three (Gould Avenue-phone/debit card, West Roane Avenue-mower, pressure washer, gas can; Hwy. 9 North-dirt bike).

The EPD made one felony arrest, four misdemeanor arrests and one arrest for another agency during March. The department also investigated 10 traffic accidents. Offenders participating in the Municipal Court Work Program worked off fines totaling $591.

Christopher S. Halsdorf: aggravated domestic-two counts.

Misdemeanor Arrests

Donta Ashford: possession of marijuana and contempt of court.

Jason Dwayne Birchfield: contempt warrant.

Anderson Edward Carr: DUI-1st, no DL and improper equipment.

Elizabeth Dempsey Philley: possession of meth and public drunk.

Other Agency

Stephen Cooper: for Choctaw County SO.

April 13

Garon G. Muncher, DOB 07-12-66, WM; Webster 8: DUI-2nd; failure to obey, disturbing the peace and improper equipment.

Jawan Lashun Ingram, DOB 01-13-98, BM; Mathiston 1: shoplifting.

April 14

Jarvis Peoples, DOB 03-13-85, BM; Webster 10: suspended DL.

Joshua Johnson, DOB 10-13-97, BM; Webster 17: no DL and no insurance.

Kendall Blake Hardin, DOB 09-29-94, WM; Montgomery 8: possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
