From Staff Reports
“Kick Butts Day” is a national day of activism held annually in March (on March 15 this year) that empowers youth to stand out, speak up and seize control against Big Tobacco.
“Kick Butts Day” was created by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids to encourage youth to participate in events against big tobacco companies. More than 1,000 events in schools and communities across the United States and around the world are being held this year.
On March 7, teacher Lyn Blaylock’s humanities class at Eupora High School posted their testimonials about why they don’t use tobacco. This activity was done early because EHS is out for spring break this week.
