The Eupora Police Department investigated these charges during February:
Speeding, five; suspended driver’s license, four; no driver’s license, two; expired tag, two; careless driving, one; no proof of liability insurance, two; possession of beer, two; possession of liquor, two; possession of paraphernalia, two; public drunk, one; contempt of court, two;
shoplifting (Family Dollar-items returned), one; property dispute, one; domestic violence, one; fight (kids on Malone Street), one; simple assault, one; blight and property maintenance violation, two (one cleaned up; one in process of cleaning up); harassment/threats, one;
malicious mischief, seven (West Clark-two egged vehicles, West Clark-salad dressing on windows, MLK-egged vehicle, Malone Street-egged vehicle, Naron Street-two broken car windows); petit larceny, two (wallet containing $150, clothes taken from Laundromat);
dog theft, one; felony fleeing, one; possession of methamphetamine, one; aggravated domestic violence, two (one-gun, one-strangulation); auto burglary, two (one-gun stolen from unknown location and no serial number, one-nothing taken); and burglary of unoccupied dwelling, one (Waterworks Road).
The EPD investigated five traffic accidents, and made one felony arrest, five misdemeanor arrests one arrest for another agency in February. Offenders participating in the Eupora Municipal Court Work Program worked off fines totaling $1,157.
