Woodmen of the World in Eupora will have its Easter egg hunt March 25 at the lodge at 2 p.m. The event is open to the public, and will include an egg hunt and refreshments.
A kickoff to Angie’s 2017 gospel singings will be at 6 p.m. March 25 at the Stewart Fire Department on Hwy. 82 across from 4-D Grocery.
Performing will be Two for God, David McMillian and Family, the Pounders Family, Heavenly Journey and Family Tradition.

Eupora Elementary School kindergarten registration is April 4-6 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. and then a lunch and tour on April 6 at 10 a.m. in the school cafeteria. If you have a child that will turn 5 by Sept. 1, 2017, you need to register your child during this time. Packets can be picked up at the EES office.
Come to Mathiston Public Library and see our doll display. The dolls are from Sue Rushing’s collection. She is an avid doll collector and worked for many years as a nurse at the hospital in Eupora.

The monthly Black Hawk School singing that normally is held between March and December has been canceled for 2017 unless further updated.
Storytime at Webster County Library in Eupora is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Pat Ray entertains the children with songs, stories and crafts. Children ages 2-5 are invited to attend.
Maben Public Library has storytime every Friday at 10 a.m. featuring many fun activities along with a story.

Walthall Baptist Church is hosting the “Tell Me” Rally for Webster County on March 20.
It will be held in the church parking lot at noon. Dr. Jim Futral, executive director of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board, will bring a brief message.
Rallies are being held in every county seat of the state as part of the MBCB’s 2017 “Tell Me, Tell Someone” evangelism emphasis.
Center Grove Baptist Church (146 Center Grove Road, Maben) is hosting a women’s conference on March 25. The conference theme is “Navigating Life: Weathering the Storms.”
The speaker will be Barbie Bassett, meteorologist for WLBT-TV3-Jackson and the American Family Radio, Christian speaker, singer and author of “Carry an Umbrella When There is No Rain in the Forecast: 365 Days of Living by Faith.”
Registration will be from 9-9:45 a.m. and the program will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a book signing and luncheon.
Tickets are $10 for program only and $20 for program and luncheon. Advance tickets are encouraged as no luncheon tickets can be sold at the door.

The fourth annual Praise Fest will be held at Pine Forest Baptist Church located 7 miles north of Stewart on March 25.
A meal will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the service will be held at 6:15 p.m. Praise Fest 2017 will be co-hosted by Josh Buford of Meadowview Baptist Church in Starkville and by Greg May of Pine Forest. Bro. Wade Stevens of FBC in Mathiston will be the speaker.
