Nov. 8 is past and we have a newly elected president. January is gone and Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day, is past. How swiftly time passes by – where has it gone?
There are still 24 hours in a day. Maybe we are caught up in doing our things that we do not make time for Bible reading and studying to find out what Jesus and the Father are doing toward his plans for us and his world. This is a must! The end time is not “over yonder”; the end time is here now.
America is in turmoil over the election of a man who is not a politician that people of the contrary party cannot think straight or right. Confusion abounds. Babylon is trying to rule. American people are in a mad rush. Doing their best to unseat a duly elected president. Maybe to under a dictatorship?
Let us see what God says. Psalm 2:1-4 (KJV): “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
“The kings (rulers) of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, (just as the wicked in Jesus day tried to destroy him — so the power structure, contrary party, are trying to destroy him.)
“Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”
How would you feel if you knew when God laughed at you?
In the old time people wanted to get rid of Jesus – they crucified him. Those who crucified Jesus are still paying. I, along with millions of others, sent up petitions to God for Donald Trump. Our petitions were answered. Americans were tired of becoming a third-world country. Jude says “certain men have crept in unaware.” They have refused Trump as our president despite of our American system.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV): “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
There is a great contrast between Psalm 1 and 2. Look at Psalm 1:1-6 (KJV): “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
“The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
“Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
“For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”
Psalm 1 is a pattern, guideline, for people to follow and be blessed. Psalm 2 is the opposite. The path of the unbelief and rebellion. If you walk this path God’s judgment and wrath awaits you.
Psalm 2:5 (KJV): “Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.”
Psalm 2:7 (KJV): “I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.”
What is God doing? America is divided and God is dividing the believing and obedient from the unbelieving and disobedient. Where are you? Amen!
