Rotary honors Student of the Month

The Eupora Rotary Club recognized Greer Blaylock as Rotary Student of the Month at its Nov. 1 luncheon. She was introduced by Teacher of the Month Teresa Whitaker, who teaches biology I and II and AP biology.

A senior at Eupora High School, Greer’s school activities include Interact Club, FCA, FBLA, DECA, Biology Club, Beta Club, Student Council representative, class officer and cheerleading.

Her honors and awards include EHS HOBY delegate, 2017 Webster County Distinguished Young Woman, USA All-American Cheerleader, selected to attend the Lions Leadership Summer Conference, Merit Student, Class Favorite, Homecoming maid and A Honor Roll (ninth-11th).

Community/church/volunteer activities include First Baptist Church youth activities, Mission Arlington trip 2014 and 2015, St. Louis mission trip, 2016 summer mission to Nicaragua, nine-year Bible Drill participant, MFWC Puppet Project volunteer, Vacation Bible School and community outreach volunteer, junior cheer camp instructor, Eupora Juniorette Club (charter member and president) and coordinator of Eupora Color Run — Kicking Cancer with Color.

Greer is the daughter or Stan and Lyn Blaylock.
