Warrant issued in stabbing case

From Staff Reports

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a woman accused of stabbing another last month at a Eupora apartment complex.

Quamisha C. Eichelberger alleges in an affidavit that Stephanie Monique Wofford stabbed her with a knife Dec. 27 at Southwood Acres, resulting in 22 wounds. The affidavit, filed Dec. 28, charged Wofford with aggravated assault — use of a deadly weapon.

Wofford, 27, had not been located or arrested as of Monday, according to the Eupora Police Department.
The stabbing apparently occurred around 3 a.m., when a disturbance/fight on Veterans Memorial Boulevard was reported to Webster 911, records show. Southwood Acres is located on Highway 9 South (Veterans Memorial Boulevard).
