Bylaws adoption, election of officers planned
Special to the WPT
The EHS Alumni Association will meet Saturday, Feb. 7, at 10 a.m. at Eupora High School. To date, over 100 former students have joined the group in its endeavors to get established and provide much-needed assistance to the school.
The purpose of this meeting will be to review and approve bylaws for the organization. And the group plans to nominate and elect officers of the association at this meeting. All former graduates, students, teachers and others who have a deep and abiding love for the school are invited to join the group at this meeting.
Judy H. Cascio and Betty J. Harpole have been working to establish a roster of all former graduates of the school. While they have obtained many of the class rosters, they are still in need of quite a few.
So many former students in the community have been heavily involved and are anxious to see this organization become a reality. Everyone can help — if you have access to your class roster complete with names, addresses, phone numbers or e-mail addresses, this would be beneficial to the organization.
The association’s previous meetings have been well attended, but it is important that we have a large crowd for this meeting as it will be important. With the adoption of the bylaws and the election of officers, it is important for everyone to have input. This meeting will have a real impact on the future of the association so please come out and meet with us.
