Many Eupora residents have noticed the renovations taking place at the old Taylor-Made Equipment Co. building on Highway 182 West (1936 W. Roane Ave.).

The building, which was sold to Dr. Jack Huffman from the family of the late Buddy Taylor, will soon become Mockingbird Motorworks. The new business will be a motorcycle repair/fabrication shop owned and operated by Jack’s son, Whitt Huffman.

Whitt is an Iraqi War veteran who has completed multiple tours of duty, and says it has always been his dream to come back home and run a shop such as this.

Renovation of the building will be completed in the next few weeks, with an opening date still not determined.
