group to form
A group of former graduates of Eupora High School is working toward forming an EHS alumni association. The purpose of this group will be to network together and find ways to help support the school.
The first brainstorming meeting will be Aug. 16 at 11 a.m. at Central Service Grill in Eupora. To begin with, the group will be known as the EHS Lunch Bunch until plans can be developed and the plans put in place.
All former graduates of EHS who would be interested in helping to work toward achieving this goal are invited to attend.
United Blood Services will conduct a blood drive at Eupora First United Methodist Church on Aug. 19 from 2-7 p.m. Look for the two bloodmobiles parked by the fellowship hall.

Library story time
Webster County Public Library in Eupora will host storytime for children ages 3-5 each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.
Alcoholics Anonymous meets Wednesdays from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 5-6 p.m. at North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora in the Education Conference Room.
Bingo at VFW
Bingo is every Saturday at 6 p.m. at VFW Post 3806 in Eupora.

Crossroads Baptist Church of Choctaw County’s revival continues at Bennett Hall Auditorium, Wood College, at 7 p.m. Aug. 13 and 14. The Rev. Coy Fulgham is the evangelist, and Rachel McKay and Patricia Nettles are the music team.
New Pleasant Spring M.B. Church in Kilmichael will have summer revival Aug. 13-15 at 7:30 nightly. The guest speaker will be Pastor Cornelius C. Clark Sr. of Sweet Holy Spirit Church in Chicago.
The Webster County Baptist Association Disaster Relief Chainsaw Crew will meet at 8 a.m. Aug. 16 at First Baptist Church of Mathiston for a special training session.
