The Eupora Police Department investigated these charges/incidents during May:
Speeding, 13; expired tag, two; no driver’s license, two ; suspended driver’s license, one; no proof of insurance, two; disregard for traffic device, two; leaving the scene of an accident, one; dog and animal control violation, one; disorderly conduct, three; disturbance of a family, one;
phone harassment, one; shoplifting, one; possession of beer, one; public drunk, three; petit larceny (Waterworks Road-bike), one; malicious mischief, five; possession of methamphetamine, one; contempt of court, one; suspicious person, one; suicidal person, one; simple assault, three;
vehicle accident (Hill Street-child transported to Jackson with broken ankle), one; auto burglary, one; and sexual assault/misconduct, three (one defendant).
The EPD investigated eight traffic accident and made nine misdemeanor arrests during May.
Three offenders participated in the Municipal Court work program in May, working off fine amounts totaling $1,188.50
Dabney Lee Black: contempt warrant.
Brad Cole: public drunk, disorderly conduct and contempt warrant.
Jacob Duncan: simple assault and malicious mischief.
Rebecca Gean Jones: suspended DL and no seatbelt.
Havon Patterson: disorderly conduct and public drunk.
Kariece Robinson: simple assault.
Jared Lee Thinnes: public drunk.
Bobby Wofford: simple assault.
