Mr. and Mrs. James Spearman Jr. of Eggville announce the engagement of their daughter, Susan Spearman, to Amir Hunt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hunt of Eupora.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Spearman Sr. of Saltillo and the late Holder Estes and Mary Ruth Estes of Eggville.
Miss Spearman is a 2006 graduate of Saltillo High School and a 2014 graduate of the Mississippi University for Women with a master’s of science in speech language pathology. In June, she will begin work at Dugan Memorial Home in West Point as a speech language pathologist.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Therrell Hunt of Ackerman and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Wesley Yeager of Alva.
Mr. Hunt is a 1999 graduate of East Webster High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s of science in mathematics. He is currently employed at Amory High School as a math teacher and head coach of fast pitch softball.
The couple will exchange vows on June 21, 2014, at 2 p.m. at East Main Church of Christ in Tupelo with Brother Philip Hathcock officiating. A reception will be held in the multipurpose room of the church immediately following the ceremony. All family and friends are sincerely invited to attend this ceremony of love and commitment.
