Fame Church of God has honored Sherlene Stewart for her service to the church as secretary/clerk.
She is stepping down after 13 years, and was recognized by the pastor, Kenneth Smith, during the morning service on April 20.
The congregation presented her with a special gift, a matching candlestick and vase. The greatest honor was the presence and support from all five of her children and their families.
