A Webster County man has been charged with burglary in connection with the theft of firearms.
Two rifles were stolen April 12 from a home located at 4182 Calabrella Road, where the homeowners had installed video cameras around the outside of the house, according to the Webster County Sheriff’s Department.
“With the video footage of the suspect, Webster County Sheriff’s Department quickly identified the suspect and made the arrest,” a sheriff’s office release stated.
The person charged with the crime was James T. Schick, 35, from the Grady area.
He was arrested April 14 and charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling. The two guns that were stolen were recovered the same day.
Schick was arraigned and had bond set at $10,000 on April 15. He is now out on bond until his court date.
