EHS Class of ’64 plans reunion

Eupora High School’s Class of 1964 is having its 50th-anniversary class reunion May 23-25 in Eupora.

Highlighting the weekend will be open house at the school from 1-3 p.m. on May 24. All classes of the ’60s are invited to the open house to visit and reminisce about days at EHS.


These members of the Class of ‘64 were in teacher Lorene Walker Brown’s fourth-grade class at Eupora Elementary School. This photo was made on the steps of the auditorium of the old elementary school that burned in 1972. Many of these students will be attending the reunion and others in the photo who may have moved to other schools are encouraged to join their classmates at the 50th-anniversary reunion. The Class of 1964 has held a reunion every five years since graduation and is looking forward to this grand occasion. Classmates from Washington, D.C.; Oklahoma; Texas; Tennessee; Georgia and Alabama will be joining class members from around Mississippi for the occasion.
