WCCTC forestry students plant trees

Students in Buck Meek’s Forest Harvesting and Production Technology program at the Webster County Career and Technology Center planted trees on approximately 4 acres of Ted Cole’s property in Webster County.

The trees were genetically improved loblolly pines that were donated by Weyerhaeuser Co.

The FFA forestry team will compete at the state FFA Competition on April 4 at Mississippi State University.
