Trio of local softball standouts chosen for MAC All-Star Game

Two fast-pitch standouts from East Webster High School and another from Eupora High School have been chosen to play for the North in the Mississippi Association of Coaches 1A/2A/3A/ Fast-Pitch All-Star Game set to be played at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville on June 7.

Hannah McDowell will represent Eupora in the game, while Mamie Hollenhead and Autumn Frost will represent East Webster. The game is for rising seniors only.

There will also be a 4A/5A/6A game.

Others paying for the North in the 1A/2A/3A game are: Breanna Edgeworth, Smithville; Chandler Gates, North Pontotoc; Lane Kennedy, Smithville; Carleigh Mills, Kossuth; Mary Reeves, Hatley; Haley Sandlin, Baldwyn; Taylor Smith, Nettleon; Addie Thompson Hamilton; and Harley Tucker Nettelton. The team will be coached by Jeremy Duke and Michael Wildmon of Smithville.

Among this one the south team are Reagan Holdiness of Nanih Waiya, Abby Winstead and Brently Comans of Sebastopol and Madison Scoggin of Stringer.
