Eupora High School Future Business Leaders of America traveled to Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville on Feb. 27, where they competed in the District FBLA Conference events.
Forty students competed in the various events and 12 students placed in their category. Those students were Tamoris Draine – 6th place Business Procedures, Telisha Robinson – 4th place FBLA Principles & Procedures, Carson Gunn – 2nd place Future Business Leader Test, Trey Pittman and Lawson Stewart – 3rd place Global Business, Bryce Mitchell – 3rd place Middle Level Keyboarding Applications II;
William Mixon – 2nd place Impromptu Speaking, Drew Richardson – 3rd place Computer Applications, Kenny Murrell – 3rd place Computer Problem Solving, Karley Blaylock – 3rd place Middle Level Introduction to Business Communications, Jackson Edwards – 4th place Agribusiness, and Parker Blaylock – 3rd place Insurance & Risk Management.
The FBLA advisers are Ruth Draine, Amy Hubbard and Amanda Richardson.
