Classes complete Black History Month project

The seventh-grade ICT I classes at East Webster High School were asked to research famous African Americans from the state of Mississippi and then produce a flyer using the skills they are learning in class to tell about the person they chose to research.

Prizes for first, second and third places were given in each class period and were chosen by selected school officials. These students placed first, second and third in each of the five class periods:

The students really enjoyed the project, and all did a great job and learned much about some famous people from their state for Black History Month. They are instructed by Beth Hendrix.
