Maben Church of God is hosting a benefit for the Randall Buford family Feb. 1. Bro. Randall, who was a member of Maben Church of God and a deacon, died Jan. 20 after a lengthy illness.

The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual First Responders Appreciation Dinner on Feb. 28 at the Community Center in Ackerman.
