Scouts, leaders enjoy service project

From Cub Scouts Pack 30

Local Scouts and leaders of Pack 30 have come together to do a little service within the community.

Twenty-one Scouts and five leaders put together 72 fruit bags and passed them out at the county’s nursing homes and homes for the elderly.

We first met at Larry’s of Eupora to enjoy some breakfast then were off on our journey. This is the third annual year we have done this and we have enjoyed it each year.

We visited the long-term care unit in the hospital first, then we visited Golden LivingCenter-Eupora, where we donated two cases of fruit. We then visited Brooklyn Hall, and afterwards we visited Vickers Personal Care Home.

We always enjoy this service project. We hope to continue to do this each year. The Scouts and leaders wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas.
