Children hear story, ‘Snowmen at Night’

By Librarian Fran Smith

Webster County Library

On a cold, sunny Wednesday morning children and parents journeyed to the Webster County Public Library for storytime on Dec. 11.

After a time of visiting with friends, they settled down to sing and listen to the story. Ms. Nicole read “Snowmen at Night” by Caralyn Buehner. This story explains why snowmen change their appearances overnight.

Since there was no snow outside, the children made their own snowmen inside with the help of paper towel rolls, glue, pipe cleaners and pompoms.

Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Call the library at 258-7515 for more information.
