Children arrived dressed in their favorite Halloween costume for storytime at Webster County Public Library in Eupora on Oct. 30.

After a time of singing, Ms. Bonnie read “Click, Clack, Boo!” by Doreen Cronin. The story is about Farmer Brown, who didn’t like Halloween and was scared of the holiday.

Halloween night he heard all kinds of sounds that led him to the barn where all the animals were having a party. Wearing his pajamas, Farmer Brown won the best costume contest. He enjoyed the party and realized there was nothing to be scared of.

After the story, everyone enjoyed a party full of treats furnished by the parents. As the children left each one received a Halloween book from the library. Storytime is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m..
