The Eupora Police Department is investigating an altercation that resulted in two men being taken to the hospital, including one who was stabbed.
The incident occurred about 4:50 p.m. Monday in the parking lot of A Treasure in Heaven at 208 E. Latham Ave. Hunter said Billy Fisackerly, Bill Chism, Keith Chism and Jeremy Dixon were involved in an altercation there.
Fisackerly, 23, who Hunter said was stabbed, was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. A hospital spokesman said he was discharged Tuesday. Bill Chism was taken to NMMC-Eupora for treatment of wounds he received during the altercation.
Hunter said a knife was recovered at the scene. The matter remains under investigation and charges are pending, he said.
