‘Scarecrow’s Hat’ read at Storytime

In keeping with the fall theme, Ms. Bonnie read “The Scarecrow’s Hat” by Ken Brown to the children attending storytime at Webster County Public Library on Oct. 9.

The energetic children were ready to sing their favorite songs before they settled down to listen to the story. After the story, with the help of parents and grandparents, they all made scarecrows with their own special hats.

In honor of Farrah Faulkenbery’s birthday, her mom furnished cupcakes as refreshments for everyone.  After storytime they all gathered in the library to play on the computer, read books and visit with friends.
