Services for the Rev. Henry Bernard Campbell Sr., 92, of Stewart were Oct. 11, 2013, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with the Rev. Terry Wills and James Caffey officiating. Burial was in Reeds Chapel Cemetery.

A retired minister, the Rev. Campbell was an Army veteran, 33rd-degree Mason and member of Union Baptist Church in Stewart. He died Oct. 7, 2013, at University Medical Center in Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Campbell of Stewart; two sons, Chris Campbell of Bentonia and Willie Campbell of Stewart; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons.

 

Clifford Gary Jr.

Oct. 10, 2013

Services for Clifford Gary Jr., 83, of Eupora were Oct. 10, 2013, at Eupora First Baptist Church with the Rev. Travis Gray officiating. Burial was in Embry Cemetery.

Mr. Gary, a retired aircraft maintenance specialist, was an Air Force veteran and member of Eupora First Baptist Church. He died Oct. 6, 2013, at Golden LivingCenter-Eupora.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Umphers Gary of Eupora; three sons; David L. Gary, Ronald G. Gary and Gerald C. Gary, all of Eupora; two sisters, Katherine Gary Potter of Eupora and Sandra Gary Bailey of West Point; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Don Gary, Reagan Gary, Bobby Jones, Chip Potter, Keith Potter and James Rico.

Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of arrangements.

 

Ricki Thomas

Prewitt

Oct. 12, 2013

Services for Ricki Thomas Prewitt, 69, of Starkville were Oct. 15, 2013, at Bethsaida Baptist Church near French Camp with the Rev. Alex Lawson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was born Sept. 2, 1944, in Winona to the late Barney and Norene Carmack Thomas. Mrs. Prewitt was a retired school music teacher and private piano instructor. She was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church, where she served as its ordained minister of music. Mrs. Prewitt died Oct. 12, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson,

Survivors include two sons, Michael Prewitt Weir and Barney Prewitt of Starkville; a daughter, Diana Chandler of Ackerman; a sister, Linda McDaniel of French Camp; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman was in charge of arrangements.
