Fundraiser for

Jeff Fowler

Clarkson Baptist Church will have a fundraiser for Jeff Fowler on Oct. 19 to help him and his family with expenses from his extended hospitalization because of a severe illness.

Chicken plates with all the fixings will be sold for $8 per plate. Buy tickets in advance or plates on the 19th at the church at 3 p.m.

World Harvest hosts

anniversary services

This Sunday, Oct. 20, World Harvest Outreach Ministries will host open house and church anniversary services at 3 p.m.

Special guests will include Excalibur from Eddie James Ministries. Pastor Bobby McMullen will bring the open house address and the guest speaker, Pastor Michael Cannon, Church House of Refuge FWC, West Point, will bring the church anniversary address.

Come out and celebrate with us for what God has done in one year of ministry. A reception will follow the service. The church is located at 14025 MS Hwy. 82 East, Eupora (between Sapa Garden Shoppe and Stallings Body Shop).

Sapa Baptist

Sapa Baptist Church will be hosting its annual “Fall Fellowship” on Oct. 26. The event starts at 2 p.m. with an opening prayer led by Brother Adam Berry.

Activities include Bible trivia and Jesus Bingo, both for adults and youth, pumpkin painting, face painting, pony rides, inflatable slide and a scavenger hunt. Chili, hotdogs, desserts and drinks will be provided. The day will end with a hayride at dark.

Pleasant Hill

Pleasant Hill U.M. Church located on Polly Bell Road and Controllers Generation II 4-H Club invite everyone to come and share in its YOUTH Spiritual Enlightening of the Word at 3 p.m. Oct. 27.

Trunk or Treat

First United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church of Eupora will once again be sponsoring Trunk or Treat at 6 p.m. Oct. 31 in downtown Eupora.

They invite other churches and civic groups to host a trunk at this year’s event, making it a communitywide event. Email the FBC Eupora office at or call 258-3491 to register your group for “trunk space.”
