World Harvest holds women’s conference

From Church Reports

World Harvest Outreach Ministries held its first women’s conference on Sept. 28.

Guest speakers were Minister Cycelia Matthews, Kingdom Vision International Church, Columbus, and Anne Booth Ross, Women’s Jail Ministries, Eupora. The theme for this year’s conference was “Wounded Women … Healing a Wounded Generation.”

Around 40 women attended and each said, “It was a true blessing.” Participants came from Columbus, Starkville, West Point, Houston, Eupora, Grenada, Ackerman and Pontotoc. Praise and worship by the World Harvest worship team ushered them in to the presence of the Lord.

Other special guests included “For His Glory” dance team from Church House of Refuge FWC, West Point.

Participants enjoyed a light breakfast refreshment during registration and a delicious meal served by the men of World Harvest following the conference.

The church expressed its deepest thanks for all who participated from area churches and the World Harvest ministry team for its continued support for this event.

“We look forward to many more events to come in the future”, stated the ministry team. A special thanks to Pastor and Co-Pastor McMullen, Angie Crenshaw and Cathy Willhite for their help.
