William F. ‘Bill’

Coleman Sr.

Services for William Floyd “Bill” Coleman Sr., 87, of Ackerman were Oct. 3, 2013, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Revs. Jerry Lawson and Rev. Danny Irvin officiating. Burial was in Enon Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 29, 1925, in Marked Tree, Ark. Mr. Coleman was a retired butcher and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. He was a member of Enon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Coleman died Sept. 30, 2013, at Pioneer Community Hospital of Choctaw County in Ackerman.

Survivors include three sons, Keith Coleman, Jerry Coleman and William F. “Billy” Coleman Jr., all of Ackerman; a brother, Alvin Coleman of Ackerman; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Larry D. Culpepper

Services for Larry D. Culpepper, 47, of Clinton were Oct. 5, 2013, at Gibson Street Church of God in Eupora. Burial followed in Antioch Cemetery near Maben.

Mr. Culpepper died Oct. 1, 2013, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea Hill Culpepper; two sons, Johnathan Williams and Armando “Bruce” Hill; his mother, Carrie Culpepper; four brothers, Curlie Cromwell, Eddie Culpepper, Erusia Culpepper and James Huey; and a sister, Magdlear Scott.

Roberts & Sons Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.

Sidney Fondren

Services for Sidney Thomas Fondren, 46, of Florence were Oct. 9, 2013, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial was in Richland Cemetery.

Mr. Fondren, a member of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, was a certified heavy equipment operator. He died Oct. 6, 2013, at University Medical Center in Jackson.

Survivors include a son, Chevy Cody Fondren of Eupora; his mother and stepfather, Diana and Dennis Dunbar of Florence; his stepmother, Faye Raines of Eupora; three brothers, Stacey Fondren and Shawn Fondren of Florence, and Shea Fondren of Braxton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
