Day Program

Liberty United Methodist Church located at 21 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive celebrated its annual Women’s Day Program on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m.

The Rev. Rochelle Ashford-Minor, pastor, was the speaker for the occasion. Her message was very inspirational.

The UM Women and church family thank each attendee and participant for making this a glorious day praising God. Refreshments were served.

of Prophecy

The Church of God of Prophecy on Highway 15, Maben, will have homecoming at 10 a.m. Sept. 22. The Trailsmen Quartet will perform.

Fellowship Baptist

Revival at Fellowship Baptist Church in Bellefontaine will be Sept. 22-25. Service times are 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday-Wednesday.

The Rev. Tim Hudson, pastor of Clarkson Baptist Church, will be the evangelist.

Singing: Fifth Sunday singing will be Sept. 29 at Fellowship Baptist Church. The singing will begin at 6 p.m. with a meal to follow.

FBC Eupora

Pole rally

Eupora High School will host a See You at the Pole rally at 7 a.m. Sept. 25. Students are invited to come early to pray at the school flagpole for their school, classmates, teachers and administrators, their town, state and nation.

Walthall Baptist and First Baptist Church of Eupora will provide breakfast snacks. Come be part of this important event.

World Harvest

Outreach Ministries

Wounded Women “Healing a Wounded Generation” will be Sept. 28 from 9 a.m.-noon at World Harvest Outreach Ministries. Pre-registration is $10 and the deadline to pre-register is Sept. 22. Registration the day of the conference is $12 from 8:15-8:55 a.m. A light breakfast will be served at 8:15 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon.

Tomnolen Baptist

Tomnolen Baptist Church is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the congregation’s ministry of serving the Lord and the community on Sept. 29.

The celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a time of remembering and worship. Dr. Jim Futral will be the keynote speaker.

After the morning service, a luncheon will be served. A time of sharing memories and enjoying the fellowship of past and present members will conclude the centennial activities.

Trunk or Treat

First United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church of Eupora will once again be sponsoring Trunk or Treat at 6 p.m. Oct. 31 in downtown Eupora.

They invite other churches and civic groups to host a trunk at this year’s event, making it a communitywide event. Email the FBC Eupora office at firstbaptistc57@bellsouth.net or call 258-3491 to register your group for “trunk space.”
