Maben Lions host

Punt, Pass and

Kick contest

The Maben Lions Club will host the National Football League Punt, Pass and Kick Competition at 11 a.m. Sept. 28 at the football field at West Oktibbeha County High School in Maben.

Registration starts at 10 a.m. Early registration is thru PE teachers and coaches at WOHS, WOES, EWHS and EWES.

The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 8-15 as of Dec. 31 of this year. Parents must sign the application, and a birth certificate or baptismal record must be attached to the application in order to register.

Participants can compete in soft-bottom tennis shoes only, no cleats or bare feet.

Baseball team

selling tickets

for fundraiser

The Eupora baseball team is preselling rotisserie chicken dinner plates for Oct. 4. The dinner includes half of a rotisserie chicken, slaw and baked beans.

The cost of the dinner is $10 and can be picked up on Oct. 4 at the Eupora High School cafeteria from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from any high school baseball player or at the high school office.

All proceeds will be used to complete the construction of the baseball field house.

 

Alumni baseball

game upcoming

at EHS field

The Eupora baseball program will be having an alumni baseball on Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. at the high school baseball field.

All former Eupora High School players are invited to register for this event. The cost to register is $50 and this will include an alumni game T-shirt to be worn on game day. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the completion of the locker room/covered cages.

Registration forms and the registration fee are due by 3 p.m. Oct. 9 and can be turned in to the Eupora Baseball Booster Club. Also, on the day of the alumni game, members of the 2003 state championship team will be able to buy their game jersey for $50.
