Duncan re-elected MVMA secretary/treasurer

The Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association has announced that Dr. Joe Duncan, owner of Duncan Veterinary Clinic in Eupora, has been re-elected for a second term as the association’s secretary/treasurer.

Established in 1906, the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association is a non-profit association of veterinary professionals committed to the advancement of the science and art of veterinary medicine. The association has more than 600 members who, through the organization, work together to serve the animals of Mississippi and their owners.

The goal of the MVMA is to increase public awareness of the importance of veterinary medicine in disease control and animal health, as well as partnering with communities to promote and encourage responsibility with pet ownership.

Duncan, who previously served as a district representative for the MVMA and on various committees, has been a member of the association since 1979.
