Walthall firefighters use the Jaws of Life to remove the entire side of a crashed vehicle to safely remove an occupant. The Walthall Fire Department’s Engine 6 & Rescue 6 were dispatched to the one-vehicle accident with injuries at 10:53 a.m. Saturday on Clarkson Road. One of the two female occupants had to be extricated from the vehicle by Walthall fire & rescue personnel. Two ambulances from NMMC-Eupora, county sheriff’s deputies and Fire Coordinator Barry Rushing also responded. Both patients were taken to OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville for treatment.
