Miss D’Nell Burgess and brother are visiting relatives in Eupora and Stewart.
Mrs. Willie Lou Jackson and son accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Dolph Foust to Alabama on Saturday for a two weeks’ visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donie Mason and other relatives.
There were several who enjoyed eating watermelons at Mr. and Mrs. Dillard’s home Friday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Everett Mason spent the weekend with the latter’s mother, Mrs. Ada Walker.
Mrs. Rosa Strickling spent a few days last week with her daughter, Mrs. Monroe Noblin near Pheba.
Miss Ouida Kennedy is at home after three week visit with her grandmother, Mrs. Ada Walker of Savannah.
Mr. and Mrs. Huey Swindoll are entertaining a little daughter who made her arrival July 30.

This community was made sad on last Friday afternoon when Mrs. Carrie Ray Gruhlkey passed away at home here.
Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Ray and Mrs. Mamie Brown visited Mrs. Wister Ray on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ray spent the weekend with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.O. Burton, at Eupora.
Mrs. Ida Latham has returned to her home in Indianola after a week’s stay with her mother, Mrs. Fannie Chrismond.
William and Robert Hayes spent Saturday night with John L. Burton.
Miss Billye Cooper accompanied Mrs. Ollie Patridge and children to Doddsville to attend a revival this week.
Aunt Fannie Chrismond is making her home with her niece, Mrs. Dovie Moore, since the death of her daughter, Mrs. Carrie Ray Gruhlkey.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jackson of Rapid City, SD are spending a few days with parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Harville.
Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harville spent a few days last week in the delta.
Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Sisk spent a while Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Benson.
Mrs. Merle L. Benjamin of near Cumberland visited a while Saturday with Mrs. Lloyd Jones.
Guests in the home of Mrs. Rosa Bell and Mrs. Anne Watson were Mrs. H.B. Cook and daughters.
Brother James Justice and Brother Vance visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cook on Friday.

Eupora High Cheerleaders
The Eupora High cheerleaders, consisting of Stacey Cooper, Christie Dykes, Michelle Griffin, Wendy Burton, Ashley Lott, Suzanne Stephens, Christy Duncan, Shannon Bowen, Amanda Hunter and Lisa Robinson, have recently attended the NCA Cheerleader Camp at MSU.
During their week, they received 3 superior ribbons and 1 excellent for the routines they performed. The squad was also a nominee for the super star squad. They also brought home the 1988 spirit stick. They are working very hard to bring the Eupora fans enjoyment during the next year.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hayman, Bethane and Mandy Hill visited in the community on Sunday.
Mrs. Kelly Land visited Monday afternoon with Mrs. R.L. Cooke.
Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Land attended the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Brister on Sunday.
Miss Mandy Hill visited Sunday with the Hayman family.
Mr. and Mrs. Crawford Pittman and boys visited Saturday with Mrs. R.L. Cooke.
Mrs. Debra Cooper and Jason and Justin visited with her sister over the weekend, Mrs. Brenda Cooper and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Land recently attended the Alva class reunion at Grenada.
