Maben Church

of God

Maben Church of God will host a singing at 7 p.m. July 13 featuring Amazing Grace from Amory. The church youth will be selling water and drinks.

Also, July 14 is Super Sunday. Revival with Pastor James Wells is 7 p.m. July 14-17.

Pleasant Hill

Pleasant Hill Church in Kilmichael will celebrate its 118th anniversary at 2 p.m. July 14. The Rev. Johnny Butts, pastor of Hayes Creek and Wilmount M.B. churches, will be the speaker. The colors are red and silver.

Grove Chapel

Grove Chapel M.B. Church, located at 281 Fifth Ave. in Maben, will have a Men’s and Women’s Day Program at 3 p.m. July 14. The Rev. Charles Goss will be the guest speaker.

Disaster relief

training July 20

The Webster County Baptist Association will sponsor a disaster relief training event July 20 at First Baptist Church of Eupora.

Sign up for the training event by calling the association office at 258-5611 from 8-11 a.m. Monday-Friday.

Calhoun County

Singing Convention

The Calhoun County Singing Convention will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. July 20 at Springhill Baptist Church in east Slate Springs. Lunch will be at noon. For more information, contact Sonny Williams at 628-6358.

Sapa Baptist

Sapa Baptist Church will have “Youth Night” at 6 p.m. July 21. Bro. Bubba Bland will be the guest speaker and the local group “Long Time Coming” will provide the music. A love offering will be taken. Refreshments will be provided in the fellowship hall following the services.

Eupora Community

Outreach Ministry

Eupora Community Outreach Ministry will be sponsoring a Bible Drill event at 5 p.m. July 27 at Liberty United Methodist Church.

Students ages 10-18 are asked to participate. For more information call 258-6454 or 258-4071.

The back-to-school program and school supply giveaway will be at 5 p.m. July 28 at Cathedral of Deliverance. Supplies will be given away to students throughout Webster County.
