Lyft group lifts residents’ spirits

From GLC-Eupora

The Lyft Group from Clarkson Baptist Church visited Golden LivingCenter-Eupora on June 22 at 9:30 a.m. and brought many smiles to residents with a flower show.

Ann Cole got the flowers together with the contribution of some gardenias and lilies from Peggy Coulter. Barbara Fortner and Jean Bingham were also involved in this flower project. The residents were so excited to view and talk about memories of growing various flowers during past years.

Once the program concluded in the activity room, those residents in attendance selected an arrangement of flowers to place in their room. Then, the ladies distributed individual bowls of daylilies, hydrangeas and gardenias to residents in their rooms.

“This was a wonderful program that lifted the spirits of so many of our residents. I greatly appreciate the time and effort the Lyft group contributed by gathering, arranging and delivering this beautiful flower show to us at GLC Eupora,” stated Activities Director LaDonna Caffey.
