Local authorities have arrested a man wanted in Ridgeland on a cyberstalking charge.
Deputy Sheriff Jeff Mann of the Webster County sheriff’s office said the man was picked up in Mathiston a few weeks ago for the Ridgeland Police Department for cyberstalking, which is a felony charge.
Mann said he is accused of sending threatening emails to a car dealership in Ridgeland. The man was not booked into the local jail and his name was not available. Agencies involved in his arrest were the Webster and Oktibbeha County sheriff’s departments, and the Maben Police Department.
