Father’s Day

service

World Harvest Outreach Ministries will have a Father’s Day service at 6 p.m. June 16. Dr. Bob Meek will be the speaker.

The church will observe the Ordinance of Communion and all fathers will be honored. Pastors Bobby and Eddie McMullen and congregation invite everyone to attend.

Life Line

screening

Life Line screening for the risk of stroke will be June 17 at First Baptist Church of Eupora.

Participants will receive $10 off any package priced $139 and up, and First Baptist Church will also receive a $10 donation for any member that signs up by calling 1-800-324-9458 and attends the screening.

Fellowship Baptist

Fellowship Baptist Church, 2335 Old Trace Road, will host Vacation Bible School in its fellowship hall June 17-20 from 6-8 p.m. June 21 will be Family Night from 7-8 p.m.

The theme this year is “Jungle Jaunt.” For more information call 263-4035.

VBS kickoff and pre-registration will be June 15 at Mathiston City Park from 10 a.m. till noon featuring games and refreshments for the kids.

Fame Church of God

Fame Church of God will have homecoming services on June 23. Services will begin at 10 am. The Rev. Harmon Smith, brother of pastor Ken Smith, will deliver the morning message. Singing will follow after lunch.

JOY Club

JOY Club will meet at 11:30 a.m. June 25 at the First Baptist Church fellowship hall for its monthly potluck lunch.

Patriotic

Celebration

The Webster County Baptist Association will host a special Patriotic Celebration at 5 p.m. June 30 at First Baptist Church of Mathiston. The event will feature choir and orchestra members from churches throughout Webster County for this annual event.

The Patriotic Celebration is under the direction of FBC Eupora’s Minister of Music Jason Carson. For more information about this year’s event, contact the Webster County Association office at 258-5611.

Youth service

FBC Eupora VBS:

First Baptist Church of Eupora will have Colossal Coaster World Vacation Bible School from 5:30-8:30 p.m. July 7-12, with Friday night set as a special Family Night. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m.

Children entering kindergarten through sixth grades throughout the area are invited to attend this year’s event.

Grove Chapel M.B. Church, located at 281 Fifth Ave., Maben invites everyone to its Men’s and Women’s Day Program at 3 p.m. July 14.
