From Press Reports
Holmes Community College will not be offering summer classes at Wood Institute this summer, according to Grenada Center Vice President Dr. Jim Haffey.
Plans were for English Composition I, Intermediate Algebra and College Algebra to begin on June 3 with a registration day set for May 30 for summer classes. But with East Webster High School moving out of Wood, issues have arisen over the availability of technology required for the Holmes summer classes.
Fall classes will go on as scheduled. Holmes Community College apologizes for the inconveniences this may have caused.
Summer school classes are also offered at the Goodman Campus, Ridgeland Campus, Winona Vo-Tech, Grenada Center, Yazoo County and Attala Educational Center.
Registration will be held in Kosciusko on May 28, Goodman and Grenada on May 29, Ridgeland on May 30. Winona registration is through the Grenada Center while Yazoo County is through either the Goodman or Ridgeland campuses.
