NMMC-Eupora receives convalescent unit

From Press Reports

North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora has received a 2006
convalescent unit from NMMC-Tupelo’s ambulance service.

“This unit is in excellent condition with low mileage and will be
used by our long-term care unit for transportation of our residents,”
stated Todd Shettles, NMMC-Eupora EMS director.

The unit was previously used as an on-campus transport unit by the
ambulance service in Tupelo.

“They no longer had a daily need for this unit and asked if we could
put it to good use,” Shettles added. “We would like to thank Josh
Wenzel, director of Pre-Hospital Services at NMMC-Tupelo, and Dusty
Curry, paramedic at NMMC-Tupelo, for transferring the unit. We feel
it will help in transporting our residents to doctors’ appointments
as well as other activities should the need arise.”
