Church, 4-H club host CPR class

From Press Reports

Pleasant Hill U.M. Church and the Controllers Generation II 4H Club
hosted a CPR class March 7 at the church.

Participants included employees from Mississippi State University,
Ability Works of Starkville, Mississippi Department of
Transportation, Mississippi Regional Housing Authority and Fidelity
Loan Co. Members of St. Paul M.B. Church and Peters Rock Church of
God also attended.

Montreysal Warren said she could hardly wait to take the class,
especially after she witnessed her co-worker’s son stop breathing and
in need of CPR. The child’s mother knew CPR and administered it until
help arrived.

Warren said, “I have children that are 8 and 10, and I can rest a lot
better now. I really thank Pleasant Hill and the 4-H’ers for hosting
this workshop.”
