Keady Friends of Library speaker

By Fran Smith, Librarian
Webster County Public Library

Peggy Keady, retired educator and author, of Kosciusko, was the
featured speaker at the Webster County Public Library for Friends of
the Library March 11 meeting.

Keady shared her background and motivation for writing “Glimpses of
Glory.” In her book, Peggy “pulls back the curtain on everyday events
to reveal the wondrous spiritual realities there in your midst.” She
said, “God is everywhere if you just open your eyes.”

Keady entertained the audience with W.C. Monk, her stuffed ape
sidekick, as they showed off their ballroom dancing skills.

Friends of the Library meet the second Monday of each month. The next
meeting will be April 8 at 11:30 a.m. For April, everyone is asked to
bring their own brown bag lunch. The library will provide drinks and
dessert.
