North Mississippi Medical Center Home Health’s Eupora branch office
will have an open house from 3-6 p.m. March 21. The office is located
at 65 Early Grove Ave.
Come meet the staff and enjoy refreshments, door prizes and free
blood pressure screenings. Find out more information about home

The city of Eupora is testing its severe weather sirens each Saturday
at noon through the month of April.
The duration of the tests will be about two-three minutes. The sirens
will not be tested if severe weather threatens.
A country music jamboree will be at 6 p.m. March 23 at the Gore
Springs Community Center.
The jamboree will feature Kay Bain, Toad Donahoo, Benny Rigby,
Richard McLaughlin, Michael Locke and others. Admission is $5.
Holmes Workforce Development will offer a basic six-week computer
skills class March 25-April 29 at the Wood Institute campus in
Participants will learn how use email, the Internet and Microsoft Word.
The class will be taught Mondays from 5-7 p.m. and the cost is $10 a

The bloodmobile will be at FATCO in Mathiston from 3-7 p.m. March 26
and at Eupora High School from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. March 28.
Ideas, input needed
Do you want to help guide Eupora’s future? Do you want help develop a
business organization that promotes Eupora? Do you want to help
support community and economic development projects for Eupora?
Come to the Webster County Library, 445 W. Fox Ave., Eupora, any time
on March 26 from 3-6 p.m. to fill out a short survey. Comments will
be compiled into a report for Eupora city officials. Light
refreshments will be served during this time.

The Civic League and Mathiston Public Library will have its story
time March 27 at 10 a.m. The book is “The Easter Beagle.” Come out
for story time, a snack and craft project. All preschoolers are

VFW Easter egg hunt
Joe H. Morehead VFW Post 3806 and Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting an
Easter egg hunt on March 30 at 2 p.m.
Children up to age 12 are welcome to come hunt eggs. The post will be
giving away bikes to one boy and one girl. All children will receive
a prize. Refreshments will be served by the Ladies Auxiliary. Come
join the fun at the post home on VFW Road, Eupora.
The Eupora High School Class of 1993 will have its 20-year reunion on
June 8. Events include a 10 a.m. tour of the former high school
building and lunch and a 7 p.m. reunion dinner.
