Services for Ruby Faye Dean, 72, of Eupora were Feb. 25, 2013, at
Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman with the Revs. Michael Mann and Coy
Fulgham officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 19, 1940, in Choctaw County. Miss Dean was
disabled. She died Feb. 23, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center-
Eupora Long Term Care.

Survivors include a brother, Vaden Dean Jr. of Ackerman; two sisters,
Mavis McKnight of Ackerman and Marie Watson of Bellefontaine; and
numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to NMMC-Eupora Long Term Care.

Mr. John Earl Williams
Maben, MS

Mr. John Earl Williams, 52, Logger, died February 21, 2013 at his
residence in Maben, MS. Funeral services were held 2:00 PM
February 24th at the Montevista Baptist Church with burial in the
Church Cemetery. Bro. Charles Lee White and Bro. Howard Rodgers
officiated.

Pallbearers were Darrel and Michael Harris, Doug Barnett, Jason
Wood, Barry Mims, Chuck and Kyle Settlemir.

John Earl is survived by his mother, Doris Whitt, Maben, MS; son,
John Curtis Williams, Maben, MS; two sisters, Judy Otts, Kosciusko,
MS and Barbara S. Harris, Eupora, MS; and a granddaughter, Zoey Hope
Williams.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wayne Williams.

Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of all arrangements.

Eupora, MS

Mrs. Jessie Faye Hunter, 84, died February 21, 2013 at the
Providence Personal Care Facility in Grenada, MS. Funeral services
were held 11:00 AM Feb. 25th at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel with
burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in
Mantee, MS. Rev. Riley Brown and Rev. Jim Nunnlee officiated.

Pallbearers were Gregg Hunter, Hunter Clements, Jeff Clements, Danny
Nutt and Kice Brown.

Jessie Faye was a retired secretary and a member of the Eupora First
Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Hunter (Danny) Nutt, Vienna,
GA; and a son Larry (Rebecca) Hunter, Grenada, MS; five
grandchildren, Gregg Hunter, Amanda Brown, Lora Hunter, Hunter
Clements and Jeff Clements; and eight great grandchildren, Caleb
Clements, Charleigh Hunter, Breanna Hunter, and Alana Hunter, Kice
Brown, Hunter Cate Brown, Gabe Brown and Briggs Brown.

Oliver Funeral Home of Eupora was in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Ruth Evelyn
Booth Rowlen
Eupora, MS

Mrs. Ruth Evelyn Booth Rowlen, 76, retired LPN, was born July 2,
1936 and entered into her rest on February 19, 2013. Funeral services
were held 2:00 PM Friday, February 22nd at the Eupora First Baptist
Church with burial in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Choctaw County. Rev.
Doyle Cummings and Rev. Travis Gray officiated.

Pallbearers were Bobby Smith, Kevin Galloway, Howard Rumore, Gary
Smith, Jerry Gary, and Lloyd Young. Honorary pallbearers were Ruth’s
nephews.

Ruth Evelyn served the people of Webster County for over 40 years as
an LPN and was a member of the Eupora First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, H. L. Rowlen; two sons,
Dr. Dennis Wayne (Kim) Rowlen, Brandon, MS and Rev. Mark (Shannon)
Rowlen, Greenville, MS; two daughters, Cynthia Rowlen (Greg) Elkins,
Eupora, MS and Gina Rowlen (James) Reed-Wood, Columbus, MS; eleven
grandchildren, Chandler Rowlen, Anna (Bradley) Fowler, Lance (Carla)
Elkins, Brandon Renfroe, Emily Claire Rowlen, Bryce Rowlen, Sara
Kathryn McGee, Hailey Beth McGee, McKenzie Reed-Wood, Jeremy Reed-
Wood, and Jarrod Reed-Wood; two great grandchildren, Will Elkins and
Parker Elkins; three brothers, Homer Lee (Dot) Booth, Scottsboro, AL,
Thomas Marion (Jeanette) Booth, Starkville, MS and Glenn Harold
(Fretchie) Booth, Eupora, MS; sister-in-law, Mattelyn Reed Booth; and
numerous well-loved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parent, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Booth;
and a brother, Dr. James E. Booth.
